Let’s make some really good iced coffee, shall we, fellow coffee lovers?
What you’ll need to make this 2-ingredient refreshing iced coffee recipe with sweetened condensed milk:
Brewed black coffee: traditional drip coffee is my go-to for this recipe, but the options are endless. Use an equivalent amount of prepared instant coffee, French press brew, prepared iced coffee concentrate, or use your espresso machine to brew an equivalent number of shots of espresso. Sweetened condensed milk is rich and very sweet, so I brew extra strong coffee when I’m making this delicious iced coffee. But the ratio of coffee to condensed milk is up to you. Add milk and stir and sample until it suits your own tastes!
Sweetened condensed milk: nothing fancy here, just a can of the good stuff. Eagle Brand is a common brand in your local grocery store, but a store brand works just as well. If you have milk, butter, sugar and vanilla extract, you can make your own sweetened condensed milk at home using this recipe from Add a Pinch.

FAQ’s and Serving Suggestions:
Absolutely! For a hot version of this great recipe, add sweetened condensed milk to hot coffee and serve immediately.
Adding flavored extract is completely optional. Sweetened condensed milk has vanilla and caramel undertones, so I enjoy this drink as a 2-ingredient wonder without extra flavoring.
Chilling your creamy coffee mixture before adding it to a frozen glass with ice cubes will slow the melting ice and keep your coffee full bodied and flavorful. Another option is to make a tray of coffee ice cubes (just pour brewed coffee into your ice cube tray and freeze!) When the coffee ice cubes melt, they just add more amazing coffee flavor to your drink.
Absolutely. Just be sure your coffee is in an airtight container or covered tightly to maintain the best taste. I often make my coffee and sweeten it, then refrigerate and drink a few glasses a day for the next 2-3 days.
