Take everything you love about my Salmon Smash Burger and pile it over crispy lettuce with fries with all your favorite toppings. This Salmon Burger Bowl Recipe delivers the same crispy-edged, cheesy satisfaction but in a format that's perfect for leftover salmon burger situations, or when you just want to eat your burger with a fork.

Breaking up those crispy salmon patties in a bowl means every bite gets cheese, sauce, and that perfect ratio of toppings. It's less composed and somehow just as satisfying as the sandwich version.
If you're as obsessed with burger bowl recipes as I am, you'll want to try my Best Burger Sauce that makes this whole thing irresistible!
Ingredients for Salmon Smash Burger Bowl

Full ingredient list and measurements included in printable recipe below.
Why This Burger Bowl Works
Same technique as the original salmon smash burgers, but with one genius tweak...when you flip those crispy-edged patties, break them up into fork-sized pieces with your spatula before adding the cheese. This creates more surface area for melting and makes every bite perfect.
The bowl starts with a bed of crisp lettuce, gets a generous pile of crispy fries (I use my air fryer to crisp a few handfuls of store-bought potato wedges), then those cheesy salmon burger bites, and all your favorite burger toppings. It's like having a burger and fries deconstructed into the perfect bite every time.
Perfect for Leftovers
Got leftover salmon smash burgers? (Honestly, how?) Just break them up, warm them through with some cheese, and pile over your salad and fry base. It's my favorite five-minute dinner that feels completely intentional.
How to Make Salmon Smash Burger Bowl: A Visual Guide
This doesn't have to be complicated! But I've already had plenty of trial and error, so I've learned a few key tricks that make all the difference. The technique is almost identical to my original smash burgers, with one clever twist that makes these perfect for piling into a bowl.

The Bottom Line
Sometimes the best recipes come from asking "what if we made this easier to eat?" This bowl gives you all the smash burger satisfaction without the structural engineering required to keep a loaded bun together.

Your leftover game just leveled up and you now have permission to eat a burger with a fork and call it a salad. Win-win-win.
