Ingredients
Scale
- 2 6-8 ounce cod fillets (substitute white fish of your choice)
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning (or Blackening Seasoning)
For Tacos:
- 4-6 tortillas (corn or flour)
- Avocado
- Cilantro
- Pickled onions
- Cotija
- Lime wedges
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
- Dry fish fillets well with paper towels. Season fish liberally with spice mix. Brush lightly with olive oil, covering the spices.
- Place cod fillets in preheated air fryer basket. Cook at 400 for 8-10 minutes. Open air fryer and test for doneness. If needed, cook for additional 1-2 minutes.
- Serve on charred tortillas with your favorite toppings and sauces, including Taco Truck Green Sauce and Baja Taco Sauce.
Notes
- Pair your Air Fryer Fish Tacos with sauces like Baja Taco Sauce, Mango Salsa, or a classic crema. Add a side of red rice and refried beans or a simple cucumber salad for a complete meal.
- Store leftover fish in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat, use the air fryer at 350 degrees for 3-4 minutes to maintain a crisp exterior and flaky middle.
