Shrimp Scampi Fettuccine

Ingredients:

– butter & olive oil – shallots – garlic cloves – salt and pepper – red pepper flakes – shrimp stock – dry white wine – lemon juice & zest – shrimp – fettuccine pasta – Parmesan cheese – fresh parsley – breadcrumbs

Let's Get Cooking

1. Build Sauce

Add olive oil, shallot and garlic, along with red pepper flakes, salt and black pepper to a saucepan.

Sauté until fragrant and tender. Add shrimp stock, lemon juice and white wine. Bring to a simmer.

2. Prep Breadcrumbs

In separate skillet, add olive oil and breadcrumbs, salt and red pepper flakes. Saute until deep golden brown. Stir in lemon zest and fresh parsley. Set aside.

3. Put it Together!

Add cleaned shrimp to the saucepan and simmer in the sauce until just cooked. Add al dente pasta and toss thoroughly in the sauce.

Mix a handful of the seasoned breadcrumbs into the hot pasta before plating. Top plates with final sprinkle of crispy crumbs.
