Ingredients
For the spicy salmon sushi mix:
8 ounces sushi grade salmon
2 tablespoons sriracha
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
2 tablespoons scallions, sliced
2 tablespoons cilantro, minced
1 tablespoon lime juice
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 teaspoon honey
For serving:
Cucumber
Edamame
Carrots
Avocado
Nori
Fresh jalapeno
Fresh cilantro
Lime wedges
Kewpie mayo
Sriracha
Sesame seeds
Instructions
- To begin, make your marinade for the fresh salmon. In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, sriracha, lime juice, sesame oil, honey, scallions and cilantro.
- Add diced fresh salmon to the bowl of dressing. Stir gently to combine well. Let the raw salmon soak up the flavorful dressing for 10-15 minutes while you assemble the rest of the toppings for the dish. If you plan to eat the sushi bowls immediately, add all of the dressing ingredients at once. If you are making the fish to soak for several hours before serving, reserve the lime juice to add shortly before service so it doesn't cook the sushi-grade fish.
- Prepare your sushi rice recipe
- Prep all topping ingredients, including slicing avocado, jalapeno, green onions and cilantro.
- Build spicy salmon sushi bowls and enjoy!
