1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 garlic clove, grated
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons hot sauce
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne
1/4 teaspoon sea salt, more to taste
Chives, diced, for serving
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15 minutes. Remove.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
Notes
Use the hot sauce of your choice to add spice and flavor to your spicy aioli. Tabasco, Sriracha, Texas Pete, Louisiana Hot Sauce, Cholula, Sambal or Chili Crisp are all good options.
