Ingredients
2-3 cured meat or seafood items (smoked salmon, cured tuna, shrimp or tuna dip)
2-4 cheeses (parmesan, brie, comte, soft herb cheese, cheddar or other square)
2 cracker or bread options
1-2 pickled options (cornichons, olives, pickled veggies)
2-3 sweet options (fresh fruit, dried fruit, jam, honey, shortbread cookies, chocolates)
2-3 nut and fresh vegetable options (radishes, snap peas, carrot sticks, walnuts, almonds)
Board decor (fresh fruit wedges, fresh herbs)
Instructions
- To begin, assemble all of your pickled and sweet options into small dishes. Make your smoked salmon roses. Prepare your garnishes.
- To assemble the board, position your seafood (or meat) options and main cheeses at the corners and center. Build around the edges with bread, crackers and supporting dishes.
- Fill in the gaps with fresh fruit, cornichons and toasted nuts.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and leaves.
