Holiday Charcuterie Board {for Seafood Lovers}

2-3 cured meat or seafood items (smoked salmon, cured tuna, shrimp or tuna dip)

2-4 cheeses (parmesan, brie, comte, soft herb cheese, cheddar or other square)

2 cracker or bread options

1-2 pickled options (cornichons, olives, pickled veggies)

2-3 sweet options (fresh fruit, dried fruit, jam, honey, shortbread cookies, chocolates)

2-3 nut and fresh vegetable options (radishes, snap peas, carrot sticks, walnuts, almonds)

Board decor (fresh fruit wedges, fresh herbs)

  1. To begin, assemble all of your pickled and sweet options into small dishes. Make your smoked salmon roses. Prepare your garnishes.
  2. To assemble the board, position your seafood (or meat) options and main cheeses at the corners and center. Build around the edges with bread, crackers and supporting dishes.
  3. Fill in the gaps with fresh fruit, cornichons and toasted nuts.

  4. Garnish with fresh herbs and leaves.

Mix and match homemade dips, sauces and sides with a variety of high-quality store bought ingredients for an easier party solution.

If serving a group of party people who eat seafood and meat, feel free to mingle cured meats with your seafood, sauces, veggies, bread and cheeses.
