Sweet & Spicy Mexican Shrimp

Ingredients:

– chipotle powder or adobo chili sauce – cumin – garlic powder – honey – lime juice – medium shrimp (cleaned and tails removed) – neutral oil – fresh jalapeno – cilantro – salt and pepper

Let's Get Cooking

1. Make Sauce

Combine  honey, lime, and spices and heat in microwave. Liquify honey and do not boil it.

2. Prepare shrimp.

Once sauce is cool, pour over the raw shrimp and toss to marinate for 10 minutes.

Heat oil in skillet and add marinated shrimp and diced jalapenos to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes, then toss and saute until shrimp are cooked through.

Plate shrimp and serve with pickled onions, cilantro and lime wedges.
