Mahi Mahi in Garlic Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

mahi mahi fillets salt & pepper paprika flour  olive oil & butter shallot garlic cloves lemon juice & zest mascarpone cheese fresh basil

Let's Get Cooking

1. Saute Mahi Mahi

Dry mahi fillets and season with salt, pepper and paprika. Dredge in flour, dusting off excess.

Pan sear in olive oil and butter until golden brown and cooked through. Remove to a plate while making creamy sauce.

2. Build Sauce

Return pan to stove and add diced shallots and garlic. Sauté until tender, then add lemon juice and bring to a simmer.

Lower the heat to medium low and add mascarpone cheese and lemon zest, stirring to melt the cheese.

Add half the basil to the creamy garlic sauce, along with the mahi fish fillets. 

Ready to Serve!
