How To  Boil Crawfish

Ingredients:

– crawfish – onions – garlic – small red potatoes – corn on the cob – salt – Old Bay Seasoning – bay leaves – Cajun butter sauce (for serving)

Let's Get Cooking

Add sea salt, Old Bay, onions, bay leaves and garlic to your pot of water.

1. Making Stock

Add baby potatoes and corn. Cook for 8 mins. Remove when cooked to create room for crawfish. (Unless you have VERY large stock pot that will hold everything.) 

Bring seasoned stock pot back to a boil. Cook crawfish until it floats to the surface and turns deep red - just 3-4 minutes.

2. Boil Crawfish

Pour cajun butter sauce over cooked crawfish, potatoes and veggies. Cover and soak for 5-10 mins. (Grab sauce recipe below!)

Prep  for Service

To serve, pour the crawfish and veggies onto a large tray lined with parchment or newspaper in the center of the table. Dig in!
