Healthy Phillips Maryland Crab Soup

You're going to love this classic Crab Soup Recipe because it's loaded with veggies and crab and it makes the perfect cozy and nutritious meal or starter all year round.

Ingredients: 

Crab meat (claw + body) Butter Diced onion, celery, carrot Diced potatoes Seafood seasoning Celery seed Seafood stock Crab base or seafood stock cube Diced tomatoes Corn Peas Green beans Lima beans Fat leaf parsley

Step 1: Sauté onion, celery, carrots and potatoes, allowing them to soften. Then add spices and seasonings to the pot.

Step 2: Add the seafood stock and soup bases.

Step 3 : Add tomatoes, corn, peas, green beans and lima beans. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Step 4 : Reduce to a simmer and add the crab meat and half the fresh parsley. Cook gently for about 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

Step 5: Top with the fresh parsley.

Start the Party! Serve each bowl of soup with lemon wedges along with oyster crackers or crusty bread...or both!
