Garlic Shrimp (Portuguese Style)

Ingredients:

olive oil garlic red chili  smoked paprika white wine large shrimp salt & pepper lemon fresh cilantro

Let's Get Cooking

1. Smoky Garlic Sauce

Gently sauté sliced garlic in olive oil until tender, but not browned, about 4 mins.

Add sliced chili pepper (or flakes), smoked paprika, salt and pepper.

Cook another minute to let the spices toast.

Increase heat and add white wine. Cook for 2 mins or until wine reduces by half.

2. Cook Shrimp

Add raw shrimp to pan of garlic sauce. Saute about 2 mins on each side, or until just cooked through.

Add fresh cilantro leaves and lemon juice and toss.

Serve garlic shrimp with lemon wedges and a warm baguette.
