Creamy Parmesan Rice

Ingredients:

– Butter – Vegetable stock – Whole milk – White pepper – Long grain rice – Lemon zest – Parmesan – Fresh parsley

Let's Get Cooking

1. Make creamy stock

Combine butter, broth, 1 1/4 cups of milk and white pepper in a pot with a tight-fitting lid.

Bring the mixture to a simmer, then add rice. Cover, cooking until liquid has mostly absorbed and the grains are tender.

3. Finishing touches

Once the rice has finished cooking, remove from heat. Add zest, parmesan, 1/2 cup of whole milk and 2 tbs of parsley.

Stir to combine. Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve with additional lemon zest and parsley for garnish.
