WeekdayPescatarian.com

You'll love this creamy, buttery cajun sauce for seafood because it's fast and easy and tastes like you're eating in a restaurant in New Orleans!

INGREDIENTS: 1 c of butter 1/2 c yellow onion 8 garlic cloves 1 c of seafood stock 2 T Old Bay or Cajun Seasoning 1 T lemon pepper seasoning 1/2 fresh orange 1/2 t cayenne pepper

Step 1: Melt butter in saucepan and add onions and garlic, cooking over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Then add all spices.

Step 2: Once spices have bloomed in pan, add seafood stock, orange juice and orange peel to the pan. Continue cooking for 4-5 mins.

Step 3: Taste and adjust seasoning. Remove orange peel. You can use cajun butter sauce now, or use an immersion blender.

Step 4: The immersion blender will leave you with a smooth, creamy cajun butter sauce with huge flavor.

Step 5: Pour cajun butter sauce over crawfish boil or shrimp boil, or use as a dipping sauce for your favorite seafood or veggie dinner.
