Ingredients:

heavy cream shallots fresh thyme garlic cloves salt snd pepper Brussels sprouts Crunchy Topping: sliced almonds parmesan cheese butter fresh chives zest of 1 lemon

Let's Get Cooking

1. Make Cream Sauce

Combine cream, sliced shallots, thyme leaves, garlic cloves, salt and pepper in a saucepan.

Bring to a gentle simmer then reduce heat and cook over low until the shallots and garlic are soft.

Use an immersion blender to mix the cream sauce until smooth.

2. Prep Brussels 

Clean and cut your Brussels into 3-4 slices each. Transfer Brussels to a buttered baking dish.

Pour the garlic cream sauce over the veggies and bake until Brussels are tender.

3. Make Topping

Mix toasted almonds, parmesan, melted butter, chives and lemon zest in a small bowl.

Sprinkle crunchy topping over the gratin and return to the oven until the topping is golden brown.

Garnish with diced chives and lemon zest curls.
