Au Gratin Potato Recipe

Ingredients:

– Heavy cream – Shallots – Fresh thyme – Garlic cloves – Salt and pepper – Potatoes – Gruyere cheese – Parmesan

Let's Get Cooking

1. Prep cream sauce

Combine cream, shallots, thyme, garlic, salt and pepper in a saucepan. Simmer until garlic and shallots are softened.

Use an immersion blender to pulse the cream sauce until smooth.

2. Prep potatoes 

Clean and slice potatoes thinly. Layer potatoes into buttered casserole dish. 

Pour creamy garlic herb sauce over potatoes and cover tightly with foil. Bake for 55-65 minutes, until potatoes are tender.

Remove from the oven. Turn oven to broil. Sprinkle gruyere and parmesan over potatoes. Broil for 5-7 mins until golden brown.

Top bubbling potatoes with a few fresh thyme leaves and serve.
